Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many abilities, which included the ability to act, direct production, create plays, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" who hails originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid and watching her mom working. Her appearances in commercials were numerous as a young child. In the month of November, 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up shifting to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows during a Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was noted in CNN's list of all-time Favorite TV Couples as well as named the most popular Television Couple of 2013 by E!
