Liz Vassey started her career acting at the young age of 9. Her appearances have been in more than fifty plays and musicals. When she was sixteen She made the leap from New Jersey to New York in order to join the group of actors on All My Children. The first time she was nominated, she received a nomination for a Daytime Emmy thanks to the role she played on the show. Liz's guest roles as a regular or recurring characters have been featured on 12 television series, including ER Max Bob Necessary Roroughness Brothersly Love and Push Nevada Two and a Half Men FOX's adaptation from The Tick and Season Two of Amazon's reboot. She is popular for her performance in the role of DNA tech Wendy Simms on the television show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation that she starred in over a period of five years. Additionally, Liz has appeared in a number of films and pilots. She also guest-starred in several TV shows. Liz's work isn't just in acting however, she is also a writer. While she was on her final season of CSI She was the co-writer of the show's final episode. Since then the show has been sold to six TV pilots and one TV movie which are currently being developed with NBC Freeform Universal Netflix and The CW among other networks as well as studios. Liz is an avid and competitive runner. She recently debuted as filmmaker on The Human Race, the new documentary. The documentary is a look at older runners. Liz Emmerich lives in Hollywood together with David Emmerich and their family of pets as well as their aforementioned brood of children. Additionally, she was the role of a Mermaid in Flight of the Conchords as she was the lead character in the film of her own The Rift.
