Walker was a born in 1976 at Philadelphia Pennsylvania, United States of America. She is of African American background, and an American. The parents of her are Harvey Welker who is Native American as well as Julie Welker who is African-American. Her mother works as an agent in real estate while her father is a graduate in engineering. Walker was a student at Germantown Friends School, which is part of the Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia's Germantown, where she received an award in 1994. In 1998, she graduated with the bachelor's diploma in the field of education at Harvard College. Welker is in a relationship with John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck located in Philadelphia and has two children. They began an affair in 2014 with each other. John is husband to her, and four years older than she. Due to their relationship being so prosperous, they chose to move on to the next stage. In the month of March, 2017, they tied the knot. Their wedding took place at the city of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The wedding was huge at The Hyatt hotel. To the wedding, only close relatives and friends were invited.
